WHAT IS THE PLAYPLACE?

The Playplace is a 12,000 sq ft facility in Wilton, CT, providing an  Indoor Playground for children Aged 12months-10 years old. Located at 644 Danbury Road, Wilton. Behind the YMCA Gymnastics center.

We have an indoor turf field to play soccer, football, tag, volleyball and generally just run off some of that kid energy. There is also on indoor adventure playground with mini zip line, scramble net, tunnels, balance beams, monkey rings and mini basketball hoop. 

An OBIE interactive video game system on the wall and floor complete the fun.

HOW CAN I VISIT THE PLAYPLACE?

The Playplace Wilton is open 7 days a week for Open Play.

Monday - Friday walk- ins are welcome all day. However on the weekend we require you to book your playtime. Please see OPEN PLAY. 

ARE YOU EVER CLOSED FOR OPEN PLAY?

Occasionally. We do suggest checking our website before you come to play. Occasionally our field area  may be closed for a private event and on the weekends you are required to book your playtime to avoid any disappointment. 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO VISIT THE PLAYPLACE?

The cost of a 2hr Playtime at The Playplace is $15 per child. All children over the age of 12months must pay admission. Under 12months are free only when accompanied by a paying sibling. Admission price remains the same even if you are not planning on or cannot stay for the full 2hrs.

CAN I STAY LONGER THAN MY 2HR PLAYTIME?

Yes. So long as the next session is not fully booked you may book into another playtime session at the front desk and pay another $15.

MY CHILD IS 10. WHAT IS THERE FOR THEM TO DO THERE?

We suggest the recommended age is 12months to 10 years old. However all children are not the same and some 10 year olds may be "too cool" or, just too big for  our play areas. We suggest using your discretion as you know your child better than we do. 

CAN I BRING UNLIMITED ADULTS?

Our admission price includes 1 adult per child. However if grandparents, aunts, uncles or friends are coming along too, we do charge a nominal fee for additional adults.

CAN I GO ON THE PLAY AREAS WITH MY CHILD?

Absolutely. In fact we encourage it. Our only rule is you must WEAR SOCKS

CAN I BRING SNACKS?

Yes, so long as they are nut free. We also require you to take a break from playing and only eat snacks in the designated seating areas- preferably at a table. There is no food or drinks allowed in the play areas.

CAN I BUY DRINKS AND SNACKS THERE?

Not yet. We will be adding a cafe soon for added enjoyment. In the meantime you are welcome to bring in a snack and we do have a water fountain for your use.

CAN I DROP OFF MY CHILD THERE?

No. A parent or guardian over the age of 18 is required to stay with children at all times. Our staff monitor the play areas, but children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. However we do run camps on holidays.

WILL I HAVE TO FILL OUT A WAIVER TO PLAY THERE?

Yes. You can complete a waiver when you arrive or you can save time by completing the waiver online ahead of time. The correct completion of the waiver will create an account in our system, allowing you to check in by last name each time you visit and avoiding having to complete the waiver every time. They are valid for 12months

WHAT IF I FORGET SOCKS?

We sell socks for children and adults for $3/pair

CAN I HOST MY OWN PARTY AT THE PLAYPLACE WITHOUT BOOKING ONE OF YOURS?

No. Guests are not permitted to host their own parties in the general areas at the Playplace. This means you are not allowed to bring in balloons, cupcakes, food, and have guests bring in birthday gifts. The only food allowed at the Playplace are snacks for your accompanying children- sufficient for a 2hr playtime. Please check out our Birthday Party offerings- we even have a Mini Play Party during the week for smaller parties which includes the use of a party room.
